There are 15 weeks to go until the Las Vegas Marathon and I am starting to feel the increase in mileage. Yesterday, I did an easy 6 mile recovery run and today I completed an 11 mile run.
It was so humid this morning, I really felt it during the run. It was a hard 11 miles this morning, and usually, 11 miles is pretty easy. We had some light rain in the beginning of the run and I was hoping that it would stay, but sadly, the drizzle only lasted for about a mile. The humidity was a different story though. According to wunderground.com, we had about 70% humidity this morning.
With 15 weeks to go until the Vegas full and 7 weeks until the Long Beach 1/2, this I ran:
